"At one point, when Bob told us we'd gotten a night all to ourselves at the Donkey (the local coffee house where we played), he suggested that Elliot and I put together an opening set as the "warm-up" for the full band. Elliot and I, being devout Steely Dan fans, put together a trio of their tunes. This is a recording of our 'test run' at the Donkey during open-mic night. I was quite nervous... it was the first time I'd sung a solo set of anything in many years, but I think it turned out all right. Elliot is amazing, and having him up there helped me get through it. Everyone's Gone To The Movies
